Well deserved! It is such a novel and polished game.

Ned and I were delighted to see that we ended up as the top of the rankings this year! Quite the turnaround from my effort at the same concept last year (ended up being pretty toilet worthy—second time's a charm apparently.)
I don't think many people go in to a game jam like this seeing it as a competition, and we were in it to take a little break from our main project (which you can see on Steam—it's not a roguelike). Game jams are a great way to get something out of your head and see if it makes sense. Maybe it's to try something too silly to justify more time on, or maybe it's to evaluate whether an idea is worth pursuing more seriously. This time we surprised ourselves with not only how much we could achieves in a week, but also how well the idea played out in practice. The kind comments and ratings are the icing on the cake.
So thanks so much to everyone who played the game and gave us feedback, especially the judges. We're still in the trenches with our main project but rest assured that Chronosphere isn't too far out of mind.
